McDonald’s USA has signed a 56,000 sq. ft. ground lease with Vista Spring Green, Ltd., a Vista-sponsored real estate partnership, for the construction of a 4,800 sq. ft. restaurant at Vista’s newest retail development located at the intersection of Cinco Ranch Boulevard and Spring Green Boulevard in Cinco Ranch Southwest, a Newland master-planned community.

McDonald’s, which is expected to open by November of this year, will be adjacent to The Plazas at Spring Green, Vista’s planned 20,000 sq.ft. specialty retail center, with construction on the center, which is fifty percent pre-leased, projected to start in September, 2011, with an opening in the second quarter of 2012.

McDonald’s was represented by Brad Ryan and Brent Mann represented Vista in the transaction. Architectural design of the shopping center is under the direction of Marc Boucher of Hermes Architects, and leasing responsibilities for the shopping center are being handled by Donna Keith, Vista’s vice-president of leasing.
